Arsenal target Julio Cesar to leave QPR

Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has confirmed there are clubs interested in signing him this summer; Arsenal are currently front runners to bring in the Brazilian shot stopper.

Julio Cesar had an impressive first year in the Premier League despite QPR's eventual relegation to the Championship.


“I am in negotiations with other clubs in England and from other countries but there’s still not been anything definitive," said Cesar.


“I am concentrating on Brazil, I still have a deal with QPR, but I also know I have to prove that I should be in the squad for the World Cup in 2014.”
