Arsenal scouting Andreas Cornelius
Arsenal scouts have been monitoring Denmark international striker Andreas Cornelius. The 20-year-old FC Copenhagen forward has had an outstanding breakthrough season in his homeland, scoring 18 goals.
The 6 foot 4 forward bears a striking resemblence to fellow countryman Nicklas Bendtner, whom is currently on the books with Arsenal, despite spending last season on loan at Juventus.
Arsene Wenger's scouts were alerted to the forward over a year ago before Cornelius had even been considered a first team regular at Copenhagen. FC Copenhagen went on to win their 10th league title this year, much of that success was down to Cornelius' goals.
Arsenal are expected to offer around 8 million Euros to lure the burly forward to London.
