David Villa ready to quit Barcelona

There have been various reports that David Villa is ready to quit Barcelona this summer, as the club have completed a move for Neymar as a potential replacement for the Spanish striker.

Arsenal have long been linked with a move for the forward. Villa admits he is happy at Barcelona but also hinted he would look at his career options this summer.


"I have a contract and I have always said that I'm very happy at Barcelona," Villa said. "Throughout my career I have always been respectful of my current club. Right now I'm just thinking about doing a good job in Brazil and then we will see.


"We will have to analyse many things during the summer, but as of right now I'm not thinking of anything else other than playing football for Spain."
