Everton close in on Phil Neville coaching role
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that the club are ready to discuss terms with Phil Neville regarding a coaching role at Goodison Park. Neville retired at the end of last season.
Martinez has been working with the current coaching team at Goodison Park and is ready to make some changes. The hiring of Neville could be his first major arrival to the coaching team.
"I think Phil Neville is an Everton icon and I think he can bring a lot into his time as a coach. I really want to speak with him and see how he feels about his future," said Martinez.
