Alves linked with Spurs move

Daniel Alves is being sensationally weighed up as a potential £20m signing for Tottenham from Sevilla. Juande Ramos, the new boss of Spurs, is keen to bring the Brazilian on board.

Chelsea and Real Madrid were among some of the clubs eager to sign the Brazilian right back, but Tottenham may move ahead of the queue with the arrival of Ramos.

Ramos admitted: "I would like to sign Alves and Kanoute. These two players would be sensational for any club in the world but I'm not sure if Sevilla will accept this."
