Nathan Redmond Hot Target?
Nathan Redmond Hot Target?
Birmingham City are very likely to sell their star youngster Nathan Redmond this transfer season. Nathan's performance for England U21 has attracted the attention of a number of clubs and enquiries regarding his market status have been flowing from all over the League clubs.
Newly promoted Crystal Palace have strongly set their sight on the 19-year old and are understood to have made an offer of around a million pounds, which should be acceptable to Redmond's club, owing to the final year left on his current contract at St. Andrew's. Palace also seem to be interested in Blackpool winger Tom Ince, another young England star.
Among other interested clubs are West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea, Fulham and Norwich. Keeping in mind the immense attention the young footballer has been drawing from all over, Birmingham City would be expecting a call somewhere close to 3million pounds.
The 19-year-old scored two goals for his club in the Championship and seven the season before after making his first-team breakthrough. He also continued his good form in the U21 European Championship but saw his team get eliminated after losing all three games in the group stages.
