Bojinov happy with Man City
Man City striker Valeri Bojinov has said that he is delighted with the support he is receiving from Man City and manager Sven Goran Eriksson. The support has helped him in his recovery from his serious knee injury.
The Bulgarian international, who is ruled out until into the New Year after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during his first start for City in August in the Manchester derby after arriving in the summer from Fiorentina, said on MCFCTV.com: âIâve had full support from the Manager from the very first moments after the injury happened.
âHe came to see me in the hospital that night, and I was in contact with him on an almost daily basis before I returned to Manchester.
âHis support for me was very, very important and itâs fortunate that we can both speak Italian, because that has made me very comfortable and part of what was going on at the club even when I was away.â
