Crystal Palace monitoring Sam Byram

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway wants to make a move for 19-year-old full back Sam Byram, who is currently playing for Leeds United. The England under-20 international has been told that he is free to leave if someone matches Leeds' asking price.

The versatile youngster burst onto the scene last year for Leeds, playing in over 40 games for his club. Since then, the Essex-born youngster has impressed numerous Premier League clubs and Palace are the first to make an official offer.


£3m is the reported asking price for Byram, who is also interested in a move back towards his hometown of London.
