Tom Huddlestone set for Sunderland switch
Tottenham and Sunderland have agreed a £5m fee for the transfer of midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Paolo Di Canio arrived in London this weekend to discuss the transfer with Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy.
Huddlestone has been left out in the cold in recent seasons at White Hart Lane, whilst the arrival of Brazilian star Paulinho and impressive form of fellow countryman Sandro has left Tottenham with no choice but to let the player leave.
Everton were also linked with a move for the player but new manager Roberto Martinez opted against an offer after hearing of the reported £5m valuation.
It is expected that the 26-year-old England international will have a medical sometime next week.
