Liverpool yet to make offer for Xherdan Shaqiri
Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri could be staying at Liverpool this year, after Bayern Munich director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told reporters that no offer has been made for the winger.
There had been some talk that Pep Guardiola, the new Bayern boss, is so far unimpressed with what he has seen of Shaqiri. Despite that, the former FC Basel man looks set to stay at the Bavarian giants for the new season. There will be further competition next year with the arrivals of Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara.
"Nobody has called about Shaqiri. Right now there are no plans (to sell)," said Rummenigge.
"The coach is completely satisfied with him."
