PSG complete deal for Marquinhos

Paris St Germain have completed a reported 30 million Euro transfer for Brazilian centre back Marquinhos. The defender joins from Italian side Roma and will partner Thiago Silva at the heart of the French championship winning side's defence.

The 19-year-old defender joined Roma back in 2012 from Corinthians but has already impressed sufficiently to secure a mega money move to France. The defender is PSG's third major signing of the summer after Edinson Cavani and Lucas Digne.


PSG confirmed on their website a deal had been agreed: "Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Marcos Aoas Correa, known as Marquinhos, has signed a five-year contract with the club after transferring from AS Roma."
