Roma official flies into London for Gervinho talks
Italian club Roma are closing in on a move for Ivory Coast international Gervinho. The forward has been told he is free to leave the Emirates Stadium, and Roma director Walter Sabantini has already made an offer for the player.
It is understood that Sabantini is currently in London to discuss a deal with Arsenal's board of directors today regarding a transfer for the player. Gervinho is to be sold for a fee of around 14 million Euros if a bid can be matched.
The 26-year-old, who scored 6 Premier League goals last year, is out of favour at Arsenal and the Gunners are hopeful they can still complete a transfer deal for Liverpool forward Luis Suarez.
