Norwich complete Hooper signing

Norwich City have completed the signing of former Celtic striker Gary Hooper for an undisclosed fee.

The Celtic star was wanted by a host of English clubs and Queens Park Rangers had their bid accepted by the Scottish club last week.


But the Canaries swooped in with a last minute offer and the temptation of playing in the Premier League turned out to be too much to turn down for Hooper.


Celtic boss Neil Lennon was keen on keeping the striker at the club but Hooper had his mind set for a move to the much competitive English Premier League.


Harry Redknapp, Rangers' boss, has been left disappointed after missing out on his transfer target narrownly to Norwich.
