Preview: Man City vs S'land

On Monday Sunderland travel to the City of Manchester Stadium as Man City attempt to hit form again after a 6-0 thrashing by Chelsea last weekend. A win for City would be a sixth straight victory for the Citizens, who have a 100 percent Premiership record against the Black Cats.
Micah Richards is likely to miss out with a bruised knee, whilst winger Martin Petrov is available again after a toe injury.
Sunderland will be without suspended duo Paul McShane and Greg Halford for Monday night's trip to Eastlands.
Kenwyne Jones has recovered from a calf problem, but fellow forwards Dwight Yorke (calf) and Roy O'Donovan (ankle) are rated at 50-50 for the clash.
Teams
Man City: Isaksson, Hart, Corluka, Onuoha, Sun, Dunne, Garrido, Logan, Ball, Ireland, Johnson, Dabo, Hamann, Geovanni, Fernandes, Petrov, Elano, Samaras, Bianchi, Mpenza, Vassell.
Sunderland (from): Gordon, Ward, Kay, Nosworthy, Higginbotham, Collins, Harte, Etuhu, Yorke, Leadbitter, Miller, Wallace, Kavanagh, Jones, Chopra, Murphy, Stokes, Connolly, O'Donovan.
Eyefootball Premiership Predictor
Man City 2-0 Sunderland
Elano seems to have gelled immediately in this Man City side chasing European football, and will pivotal in this game, whilst Sunderland's form this year has been rather erratic. It would be a fantastic result for Roy Keane if his side picked up anything here, and City will be looking for a swift return to form.
Score: 2-0 to Man City
Goalscorer: Elano
