Marco Verratti Signs A Contract Extension With PSG

Marco Verratti will continue his run at Parc des Princes until 2018, as the player has agreed on renewing his contract with PSG. The player’s agent has confirmed his client’s contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.

It was expected that PSG would offer the 20-year-old a new contract but the talks had stalled in the light of Napoli’s interest in the player. However, Verratti’s future speculations have been brought to rest now as he has agreed to stay with the club until 2018.

"The deal is reached with PSG," tweeted Donato Di Campli.

"Marco Verratti will remain until 2018. The contract signing will occur after his return from the game in Gabon."

Verratti had joined the Ligue 1 champions in the summer of 2012 from Pescara and has made 39 appearances for the club last season.
