Bayern Munich set to make £34.5m bid for Chelsea's David Luiz
The UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich had suggested earlier this month that they had no desire to bring in 26-year-old David Luiz to the Allianz Arena. Bayern's new manager Pep Guardiola has now reportedly changed his mind and is ready to make an offer for the Chelsea defender.
Chelsea have also denied claims of selling Luiz following reports suggesting he could make way out of the Stamford Bridge side in order to push through a move for Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney.
The Brazilian International returned to training on Sunday having missed the Blues' tour to the Far East because of his national team's participation in the FIFA Confederations Cup.
Reports have suggested that Bayern Munich are set to make a bid of £34.5m for the talented defender, suggesting he would be willing to move to the Bundesliga side rather than join another Premier League club which would infuriate the Blues' fans.
