Adem Ljajic Agrees Personal Terms With AC Milan

Fiorentina’s Adem Ljajic is reportedly set to snub the advances of Spurs and Manchester City in favour of joining domestic rivals AC Milan. According to reports doing the rounds in Italy the coveted midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Italian outfit despite Premier League interest.

The 21-year-old’s future at Fiorentina has been a matter of discussion for quite some time now, with the club willing to offer him a new contract but the player not wanting one.

His present deal at Stadio Franchi expires next summer and the Rossoneri have already had their opening bid, worth €8 million, rejected. According to Sky Sports Italia, the highly rated playmaker has agreed on €2million a season for five years with Milan.

However Fiorentina’s president has some other ideas in mind as he believes Ljajic to be willing to agree on a renewed contract. He made a statement regarding the youngster’s future speculations:

"Ljajic is a future champion, we hope he understands that our offer is interesting and that he may extend his deal with his in a few days."

Ljajic scored 11 goals last season in 28 Serie A appearances. He assisted another eight, making sure Fiorentina finished fourth in the tally.
