Stoke still pushing for Mame Diouf transfer
Stoke City representatives traveled to Germany yesterday for discussions with Hannover regarding a potential transfer of Mame Diouf. The former Man Utd forward is being monitored by Mark Hughes' side.
Stoke are reluctantly being told to spend 8 million Euros to sign the forward, despite the 25-year-old being in the final year of his contract.
"They wanted to meet us for a one-to-one conversation," said Hannover's general manager Dirk Dufner. "That's what we did. But we have not reached an agreement."
