Monaco make Arda Turan bid

Monaco have made an offer of 17 million Euros for Turkish international midfielder Arda Turan. The Atletico Madrid star has also attracted the interest of Liverpool and Arsenal, but French side Monaco are ready to offer Turan double his current salary to move to France.
Since Turan joined Atletico in 2011 he has gone on to become one of the most feared midfielders in La Liga. The Turkish international scored 5 goals and made six assists in 32 games in the domestic league last season.
The former Galatasaray man could follow his former team-mate Radamel Falcao to Monaco after the Colombian recommended the Turk to his manager Claudio Ranieri.
Turan has a release clause in his contract believed to be valued at approximately 24 million Euros.
