Daniel Agger's agent confirms Barca bid

Daniel Agger's agent Per Steffensen has confirmed that La Liga giants Barcelona have had a bid rejected for the Liverpool centre-back. Barcelona were reportedly linked with a £15m move for the Dane last week as they try to strengthen their back four.

The Reds turned down the transfer offer, but Agger's agent hinted that the 28-year-old could force a switch to the La Liga outfit.

Steffensen said : "We are aware that Barcelona have made an offer for Daniel that Liverpool have rejected.


"Daniel has a contract with Liverpool for the next three years and it would be up to the clubs to agree a fee for his transfer in order for that to change."
