Tottenham eye move for Adil Rami

Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are set to join the race with Fiorentina for the signing of French defender Adil Rami from Valencia.

The North London based club are on the search for a new centre-back following the sale of Steven Caulker to Premier League newcomers Cardiff City.  


Earlier this summer, Spurs failed in their attempt to land Romanian International Vlad Chiriches. Andre Villas-Boas has now turned his attentions to Adil Rami, who previously attracted immense interest from North London rivals Arsenal.


The 27-year-old French International is keen on seeking a new challenge, and the La Liga outfit are ready to accept the sale of their talented defender for a fee in the region of £9.5m .


The former Lille star is said to the interested on a switch to White Hart Lane, but Fiorentina Sporting Director Eduardo Macia has been working hard to persuade the talented defender to join the Tuscan side.
