Cissokho joins Liverpool on loan

Valencia full back Aly Cissokho has agreed a one season loan deal to Anfield. The deal will also give the Anfield side the option to extend the deal at the end of this coming season to a permanent transfer.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool for many months and it appears the Frenchman has finally earned the move he has been pushing for since the end of last season.


Sunderland were last minute candidates for Cissokho's signature, but the player has opted to join Brendan Rodgers' side instead.


The left back has played for the likes of Porto, Lyon and Vitoria Setubal during his career, and has been capped once by his country.
