No Liverpool bid made for Will Hughes yet
Derby County have rejected claims that Liverpool's reported transfer move for Derby County midfielder Will Hughes is on the verge of completion. Derby's manager Nigel Clough has told reporters that no bid has been made for the player.
The highly rated youngster, who is widely expected to eventually make a step up to the Premier League, has attracted the interest of several Premier League teams but Liverpool are reportedly favourites to land the youngster.
However, no bid for the player has been received yet, as confirmed by manager Nigel Clough: "There's obviously speculation about Will Hughes flying around but we have had no bids or contact from anyone. Nothing has changed.
"I cannot predict what is going to happen but I do not see it changing. I think it will be pretty much as we are when the window closes, unless there is somebody sitting there with an awful lot of money burning a hole in their pocket.
