AC Milan set to battle Liverpool for Jorginho

Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has expressed that Serie A giants AC Milan are interested in acquiring his client's services.

Liverpool have been monitoring the talented Brazilian-born Italian midfielder from Hellas Verona for the past few months, but they face stiff competition for his signature from Italy as AC Milan and Fiorentina are also having keen interest on the player.


His agent Joao Santos confirmed that AC Milan are yet to produce a formal offer for the player. 


He told TuttoMercatoWeb: "There has been contact, it's true. But Milan has not made a deal with Hellas Verona. Contact only, but nothing concrete. "Jorginho would be good not only for Milan, but for all the teams who have followed him. He wants to play for Verona first of all."
