Napoli are prepared to discuss a part-exchange deal with Arsenal for Victor Osimhen, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Osimhen signed a new long-term contract with Napoli last year where he agreed a release clause worth €130 million.

The Gunners have no plans of triggering the clause, considering the striker has had a fair share of injuries this season.

Instead, a swap deal could be on the cards. It is claimed that Napoli are admirers of young midfielder Emile Smith Rowe.

Smith Rowe has played just over 700 minutes for the Gunners in the last two years and he could be sold for a good price.

Aside from him, Napoli are also keen on landing full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu after missing out on his services last winter.

The Serie A giants tried to negotiate a January deal with the Gunners, but Tomiyasu ended up signing a new long-term contract.

Napoli are now prepared to considerably lower their demands for Osimhen if Smith Rowe and Tomiyasu are added as makeweights.
