West Brom tracking Jordan Ayew
West Brom have made an ambitious bid for Marseille striker Jordan Ayew. The forward is one of three separate names that WBA manager Steve Clarke wants to bring to the Hawthorns before the end of the transfer window.
The Ghana international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham and Arsenal both reportedly interested in the player at one time. News of a potential transfer for Ayew comes after Nicolas Anelka reportedly told WBA that he is considering retiring from football permanently.
The player, who has scored 12 goals in 41 league games for Marseille, will be allowed to leave before the transfer window closes on September 2nd but only if a team matches their reported 9 million Euro valuation.
