CSKA Moscow make Adebayor bid

Russian side CSKA Moscow have made an offer for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togo international has been told he is free to leave White Hart Lane, but Turkish suitors Besiktas and Fenerbahce were unable to match his salary request.

The forward has been told that he will be third choice striker at Spurs this season since the arrival of Roberto Soldado. With more arrivals expected at Tottenham in the next few weeks, Adebayor could be pushed out the door with a transfer to Russian side CSKA Moscow.


CSKA are prepared to fully match Adebayor's salary and will pay a reported £5million fee to secure the forward's signing.
