Atletico chase Man Utd Pique

Gerard Pique is wanted by Atletico Madrid. The Man Utd defender has been linked with a move back to Spain persistently, and Real Zaragoza and Espanyol are both set to make bids for the player. However, it looks like Atletico Madrid could steal a march on their rivals.

AS says Atletico are ready to bid for the Spain U21 international, who spent last season on-loan at Real Zaragoza.

The defender is one of the brightest prospects at Man Utd, but Pique himself has always regarded Man Utd as his preferred location for the next few seasons.
