Cardiff City make offer for Alfreð Finnbogason
Cardiff City make offer for Alfreð Finnbogason
Icelandic international striker Alfreð Finnbogason is a target for Welsh side Cardiff City. The Heerenveen frontman, who scored 30 goals in 35 Eredivisie games last season, is available for around 8 million Euros.
West Ham were rumoured to have made an approach for the talented striker, but it appears the Hammers' interest in Finnbogason has ended after club chairman David Gold ruled out anymore transfers until players are sold.
With Cardiff securing a 3-2 victory over Man City this past weekend, it appears the Welsh side are having no problem scoring goals in the Premier League, but the club's chairman and directors of football have been busy scouring Europe to find more top class signings.
The 24-year-old has also attracted some interest from Sunderland and Newcastle, but it appears Cardiff are now the new favourites to sign the Heerenveen star.
