Wojciech Szczesny eyes victory over Spurs in the North London derby

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has insisted that a victory over arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur this weekend will enlighten up the spirits at the club.  

The North-London rivals face off against each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Szczesny told the Gunners's official website : "We just want to give the fans something to cheer about and make sure we get three points.


"We know how important this game is. Not only for the three points but for the mood around the club."

Arsenal secured their place in the Champions League group stage for the 16th season in a row, having come up in flying colours against Turkish side Fenerbahce, winning by an impressive aggregate score of 5-0.
