Marouane Fellaini asks for Everton exit
Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini has reportedly asked for a transfer away from Goodison Park, according to a report in the Daily Mail this morning. Manchester United are desperate to land the Everton star before the transfer window closes on September 2nd.
Fellaini has been a target for United manager David Moyes for most of the summer, and many were expecting the Man Utd coach to make a double offer for both Fellaini and his team mate Leighton Baines.
Everton had reportedly made a £36m for the duo, but that bid has been rejected by the Toffees' manager Roberto Martinez.
It has been reported that Fellaini has now officially requested that Everton will consider accepting an offer from United and the Belgian could now be given an opportunity to make a dream move to Old Trafford.
