Crystal Palace set to miss out on William Gallas

Former Arsenal and Chelsea star William Gallas looks set to snub Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace for a switch to Australian side Melbourne Victory.

According to reports in England, the Eagles manager Ian Holloway was eager to sign the former French International, until talks with the player fell through. 


Gallas, who is currently a free-agent since his release from Tottenham Hotspur, has since held talks with Melbourne Victory and it is expected that an agreement will be reached between the two parties as there is no time limit to sort out the transfer deal. 


Though reports suggest that Ian Holloway will not give up on the central defender, it appears as though the Eagles are second favourites to the Frenchman's signing.
