Fernando tipped to join Everton as Fellaini replacement
Everton will make a bid for Fernando Francisco Reges as a replacement for the departing Marouane Fellaini. Fernando has been linked with a move to the Premier League several times in the past and Everton appear to have won the race for the coveted midfielder.
It is being reported in Portugal that Everton will make a bid of around 12 million Euros to secure Fernando's signature, with the player boarding a flight to England shortly to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical at Goodison Park.
With Man Utd's long time pursuit of Fellaini drawing to a close, Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been under to pressure to find a suitable replacement.
Fernando, who has been with Porto since 2007, has yet to make an appearance for the Brazil national team but is hoping a move to the Premier League will improve his chances ahead of next summer's World Cup in his home country.
