West Bromwich boss Steve Clarke has expressed satisfaction on having wrapped up deals for Stephane Sessegnon, Victor Anichebe and Morgan Amalfitano on the deadline day.

The Baggies have been extremely active this summer having made 9 signings in total. The deadline day signings join Nicolas Anelka, Matej Vydra, Diego Lugano, Lee Camp, Scott Sinclair and Goran Popov at the Hawthorns.

"We needed to strengthen in the forward areas and we're very hopeful that Stephane and Victor will fit the bill," Clarke told the club's official website.

"Stephane is quick and direct and can be a match-winner. He has the individual skills that can turn a game.

"He creates chances for others as well as scoring his fair share of goals.

"Along with Morgan, I'm hoping Stephane will add more creativity to the team."

Clarke also hailed new signing Anichebe and remains confident of the striker's ability to render a different dimension to their attack.
