FA chairman Greg Dyke insists that England won't win the 2014 FIFA World Cup

Chairman of the Football Association Greg Dyke has insisted that it is 'unrealistic' to expect the England national team to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.

Dyke gave his first interview as the Football Association chairman yesterday, claiming that the Premier League is composed of too many foreign owners, managers as well as players, which prevents the English national side from developing.

Dyke also feels that the Three Lions should set an objective of winning the 2022 World Cup.

Dyke told BBC Sport : "It doesn't mean we can't do well in Brazil as long as we qualify.

"I don't think anyone realistically thinks we are going to win the World Cup in Brazil."

Roy Hodgson's English side who are yet to seal their berth for next year's World Cup, faceoff against Moldova in their next encounter on Friday.
