Joachim Low opens new contract talks

Germany's manager Joachim Low has admitted talks have been opened with the DfB regarding a new contract. Low, who has been in charge of his country since 2006, will sign a two year contract extension.

After a 3-0 victory over Austria on Friday in World Cup qualifying for 2012, a report surfaced suggesting that Low would be signing a brand new contract at the helm.

It is understood that the German football association wants Low in charge of the national team until Euro 2016.
