Arsenal complete the signing of Semi Ajayi on a free transfer

Arsenal have signed young defender Semi Ajayi on a free transfer following a successful trial spell with the club, as per the player's twitter account.

The 19-year-old Nigerian was available on a free transfer after leaving Championship club Charlton Athletic during the summer.


Ajayi who had earlier turned down a a six-month contract with Norwich City following a successful trail at Carrow Road,  has officially penned a two-year contract with the Gunners. 


The talented defender announced his switch on Twitter, he wrote : Delighted to announce that I have officially signed for Arsenal FC. Can't wait to see what the next two seasons here have in store for me."
