Arsenal set to miss out on young sensation Zakaria Bakkali

Arsenal are set to miss out on PSV Eindhoven's talented winger Zakaria Bakkali, as the Dutch club plan to offer him a new long-term deal.

The 17-year-old who mainly operates as a right winger, is considered as one of Europe's top prospects, having become the youngest player to score a hat-trick in Eredivisie history as his club thrashed NEC Nijmegen by a scoreline of 5-0 earlier this season.

The Dutch side are planning to extend the player's contract beyond the current deal which ends in 2015, as they try to sway away interest from the high flying Gunners.

PSV Eindhoven are currently placed second in the Dutch Eredivisie.
