Paris Saint-Germain to bid for Juan Mata?

French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a bid for Chelsea's Juan Mata when the transfer window opens up in January, according to The Sunday People. 

Mata is reportedly linked with a switch to the French champions for a transfer fee in the region of £35m, having seen the Parisiens miss out on the Spanish playmaker during the summer.

The Spaniard has failed to establish himself in the starting line-up regularly since the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho, who prefers Brazilian midfielder Oscar over the club's player of the season.


It will be interesting to see whether Mourinho would allow the talented playmaker leave the West London outfit, when the winter transfer window reopens in January.
