West Ham United keen on signing Nikica Jelavic
West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing Everton striker Nikica Jelavic during the January transfer window.
The Hammers manager Sam Allardyce was close to signing the Croatian international during the 2012 winter transfer window, until the former Rangers man opted for a switch to Everton instead.
Since the arrival of manager Roberto Martinez to Goodison Park, Jelavic has falled down the pecking order, with Romelu Lukaku favoured for the lone striker role.
Sam Allardyce is likely to make an attempt to sign Jelavic, with Andy Caroll injured, as he tries to bolster his attacking options.
Jelavic is yet to score a goal in his five appearances so far.
