Van Persie backs youngsters

Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie has revealed that he believes Arsenal's young team of starlets could battle for the Premiership this season despite the loss of Thierry Henry.

Van Persie believed Arsenal's pre season form has shown they have the ability to compete with the best teams.

Van Persie said, "Football is not about age. It is not about money,"

"It is not about those things. Football is about if you want to run for each other, if you want to fight for each other, if you want to really play some ball.
