Middlesbrough loan Norwich City defender Daniel Ayala

Championship club Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Norwich City defender Daniel Ayala on an three-month emergency loan.

The 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Nottingham Forest, is yet to feature for the Canaries in the Premier League this campaign.

The talented Spaniard is expected to feature in Boro's next championship match against Doncaster Rovers at the Riverside on Friday.

Middlesbrough are yet to hire a new manager since the sacking of Tony Mowbray earlier this weeks, with former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis considered as the current favourite for the job.
