Manchester City are interested in signing Brazilian right-back Fabinho, according to reports in France.
The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal with French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco and is expected to leave his parent club Rio Ave on a permanent deal next summer.
The Le 10 Sport claims that Manchester City have sent scouts to watch the talented right-back in action this season, as manager Manuel Pellegrini is keen on strengthening his defensive department.
Manchester City will have to face off against the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco in order to acquire the player's services.
