Arsenal offered the chance to sign Salomon Kalou

Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Lille forward Salomon Kalou during the January transfer window.

The former Chelsea player is keen on making a switch back to the Premier League in the winter transfer window, and the Daily Mail reports that the player's representatives have informed the North London outfit of his availability, with the knowledge that the Gunners are interested in signing a forward during the New Year.


Kalou, who has a transfer release clause of £2.5m, rejected a move to Arsenal in January 2012, because of his unwillingness to accept a pay-cut.
