Arsenal alerted by Edin Dzeko availability

Manchester City are reportedly keen on selling striker Edin Dzeko during the transfer window, according to Goal.

The Bosnian International has failed to seal a permanent starting berth in the first team line up since his arrival from Wolfsburg in 2011 for a fee of £27m.


Dzeko looks likely to leave the Etihad during the New Year, having fallen behind the likes of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo in the pecking order.


The news is expected to alert Gunners manager Arsene Wenger who is keen on signing a top class striker to complement Olivier Giroud, during the New Year.
