Everton eye January swoop for Alfred Finnbogason
Everton are reportedly eyeing a January switch for Heerenveen forward Alfred Finnbogason.
The 24-year-old striker has notched up an impressive 14 goals in 13 Eredivisie games for the club this season and The Mirror claims that manager Toffees Roberto Martinez had sent scouts to watch the talented star in action during the weekend.
Martinez is keen on securing the services of Finnbogason and is said to be plotting a £2m bid for the Iceland international.
The arrival of Finnbogason at the Merseyside club, would most likely bring the exit of Nikica Jelavic from Goodison Park, as the Croatian International will want to play regularly at a new club to boost his chances of earning a berth in his country's World Cup squad.
