Crystal Palace scouting Danish striker Simon Makienok
Crystal Palace's new manager Tony Pulis is hoping to add some height to his striking options in the January transfer window and according to reports from Denmark, the Eagles will make a move to sign 6 foot 7 striker Simon Makienok.
The burly forward has been with his current club Brondby since 2012 and has so far scored 29 goals in 61 games in the league for the Danish giants. Prior to his spell at his current club, he also played for Herfolge and HB Koge in his homeland.
In recent months, Makienok earned his first call up to the Danish national side and currently partners Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner in his country's front line.
Crystal Palace have a large sum of money to spend in the January transfer window, as promised to manager Tony Pulis before he arrived at Selhurst Park, and a large chunk of that could be spent on acquiring the services of the Brondby and Denmark number 9.
