Chelsea join chase for Fredy Guarin

Chelsea have reportedly renewed their interest in Inter Milan forward Fredy Guarin, with a view of making a January bid for the player.

The Blues manager Jose Mourinho is apparently willing to offer Senegalese International Demba Ba as part of the player-plus-cash offer for the Colombian International in a proposed £17m deal, according to The Daily Star.


However, Chelsea could face stiff competition from League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who are believed to be interested in the player's services, following reports suggesting that the player's representatives have flown to England to hold talks with both clubs.


Chelsea are also interested in signing Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
