Atletico Madrid interested in loan move for Erik Lamela
Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas will reportedly allow summer signing Erik Lamela make a temporary loan switch to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in the winter transfer window.
The 21-year-old Argentine International, who made his move from AS Roma to the North London outfit for a fee of £30m in the summer, has failed to live up to his expectations in the initial part of the season, in spite of getting several chances to impress from manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The Express reports that the Spanish club have held initial negotiations over the possible loan move.
Lamela has scored a solitary goal in his 13 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.
