Man Utd's Alex Buttner on Spurs radar

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood is reportedly keen on securing the services of Alex Buttner from Manchester United when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Dutch full-back is deemed as surplus to requirements at the Manchester club by manager David Moyes and this could tempt Sherwood in making a move to sign the 24-year-old on a temporary basis, with a view of making a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Buttner, who has made just two appearances in the Premier League for Red Devils this campaign, has also been linked with the likes of Fulham, Roma and Genoa in recent weeks.
